PAM SWAY RETIRES
Long-time Assistant Children’s Librarian Pam Sway retired on Friday, March 20. Pam worked at the Wayland Library for almost 25 years, the last 20 as Assistant Children’s Librarian. More than one generation of children and their parents have benefited from Pam’s love of books and her careful assistance in matching young readers to books they might love. We will all miss our daily dose of Pam’s thoughtfulness, incredible organizational skills, and passion for books and reading. Thank you, Pam, for your devotion to our library and its youngest patrons.
HELP SHAPE THE FUTURE OF YOUR LIBRARY
The library is conducting a town-wide needs assessment to learn how it can best serve Wayland residents. A survey was sent to every household in Wayland. One person from each household is encouraged to return the survey by mail or complete it online. A link to the survey is available at waylandlibrary.org. Residents can complete the survey online at home or on a computer at the library. The deadline for completion is April 10. We hope to find out what library services your family values now and what you would like the library to offer in the future.
HOLIDAY HOURS
The library will be closed on Easter Sunday, April 5.
