Wayland Town Crier 5/20/15: Wayland officially becomes Purple Heart Town. Wayland will officially become a Purple Heart Town beginning Aug. 7, as unanimously proclaimed by the Board of Selectmen on Monday night, at the request of Richard Turner, veterans’ graves officer, and Matt Ching, veterans agent.
