Bruschi is an 8 year old shepard boxer mix. It is likely that he has many more mixes in him, but that’s all that we know. He was adopted from Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton when he was 4 months old. He is very handsome and everybody loves his ears!!
He is generally very calm and “lazy”, but loves when he does get outside to play! He is very sweet and loving but is not always great with young kids who do not know how to be gentle with him. Because of an incident with our 1.5 year old, we sadly have to find him a new loving home.
We would love to find a home close by who would allow for us to come by every once in a while to see him. Our daughter loves him, and he truly is a part of our family, so this is heartbreaking to have to give him up. His new home should not have any young kids, and preferably no other animals. Another dog could be fine and fun for him, but he can be territorial with food, treats etc. So, if that is not an issue, then we are ok with him having a buddy to live with!
He has been used to being home with me, but in the past had a dog walker daily. Like I said, he does not need a ton of exercise, but making sure he gets a good walk at least once a day will be important.
